Being a big fan of the Sanctuary Spa brand, I was honoured and hugely excited when asked to be the face of their new range of products. The souffle and sorbet ranges.
Two wonderful new collections of products, unveiled just in time for a little bit of springtime pampering.
The big unveiling of their two new summer collections was held at Icetank in Holborn. I had the delight of meeting a selection of London’s best and loveliest beauty journalists, who all took time out of their busy schedule to stop by for a little moment to try the products, watch me do a demo and taste some of my food.
I made a couple of my favourite sweet treats, a light honey and lemon souffle and a zesty, fresh mojito sorbet recipe.
The inspiration behind the Cooling Sorbet Bodycare range, is zesty sorbets and crushed ice.
The products containing amazing menthol technology, which when applied has a rather pleasing tingly effect. This new range also has a completely new scent very different to the indulgent rich vanilla musk typically associated with the brand. With much fresher, summery notes.
The souffle range is also highly focused on texture. After the success of their classic body souffle, they decided to expand on the wonderful range with a body scrub and cream shower souffle too.
These products have the signature Sanctuary scent, containing extracts of shea butter, sweet almond oil, grape seed oil and cotton. Far more induldent that the sorbet range, this was my favourite.
Through out the demo there were also canapes, cocktails and nibbles, created by the lovely chef Marcus Bean (above). My favourites were his delicious pressed pork belly with grapefruit jelly and the watermelon, feta and mint skewers. The lemon curd tarts were pretty wicked and delicious too.
Despite a restless night of pending collapsed souffle panic, the oven did not fail me and we had a full house of beautifully risen, puffy, light ones. Smiles all round.
The wonderful new products from the Sanctuary Spa will be available to buy in Boots and other stockets from next month, so do be sure to look out for them. Bath time deliciousness is about to get pretty darn tasty.
Let me know which of the ranges your prefer.. Im flying the flag for #teamsouffle
